  • What Do We Believe?

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God that is profitable for correction, reproof, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16) and that it reveals the character of God, His love, and plan of salvation for man.

Our Bible beliefs are summarized into four points, the four “C”s:

Christ—We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and fully God and fully man (See Hebrews 2). He is the eternal, self-existent God and is not a created being. Even though He is fully God, He took upon Himself the form of a man to live and die for our sins. He is our only means of salvation, and it is only by His grace and His grace alone are we saved. We can do nothing to earn our salvation.

Cross—We believe that the penalty for man's sin was paid on the cross of Calvary in Jesus' death. His death reveals the deep love in God’s heart for all mankind, regardless of any background. ”For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23. By believing on Jesus Christ through faith and accepting the grace of His shed blood, we receive the gift of eternal life. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. Accepting the life, death and resurrection of Jesus is the only way to heaven. Through faith in these, we are righteous before God when we accept His atoning sacrifice in our behalf.

Commandments—Because of our love for Jesus and thankfulness for what He has done for us, we choose to keep God’s commandments (See John 14:15). We are not saved by our works. However, because we are saved, the Holy Spirit empowers those who yield themselves to Him to keep God’s commandments as the guide for successful living.

Coming Again—We believe that Jesus is coming again soon in the clouds of heaven (Revelation 1:7). As the Bible says, we will meet him in the air (See 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

We are committed to the Bible and the Bible only at Jesus on Prophecy. Our desire is that you will experience a deeper understanding of the Bible, develop a closer relationship with our loving Savior Jesus Christ, and be prepared for His soon return. May God richly bless your time in His word!
